Terms of Service & Privacy Policy

Overview

Straight2Camp is a transport support service by LiteHalls designed to move Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) safely from designated pickup locations to their NYSC orientation camps.

Eligibility

This service is strictly for registered NYSC Prospective Corps Members (PCMs). Each user must book individually using accurate personal details.

Booking & Confirmation

All bookings must be completed before the stated deadline and are only valid after successful payment.

Trips depend on availability and matching. If a bus is not filled or properly matched, the trip will be cancelled and a full refund will be processed to your bank account within 24 hours.

Seat numbers selected during booking are not guaranteed. LiteHalls reserves the right to reassign or overrule seat allocations where necessary for operational, safety, or logistical reasons.

Pickup Policy

Exact pickup details will be shared ahead of time. Passengers must arrive early and be ready.

There will be no waiting beyond 15 minutes at the pickup location. Failure to arrive within this window may lead to loss of your seat and no refund.

Travel & Delays

Trips may be pooled with other PCMs. Minor delays may occur due to coordination, traffic, or road conditions.

LiteHalls is not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, road issues, or government/security directives.

Luggage Policy

Passengers are expected to travel light. A maximum of two (2) travelling bags is allowed.

Any luggage beyond this may attract additional charges or lead to cancellation of the trip. The safety of your luggage is your sole responsibility. Valuable and fragile items should be kept with you at all times.

Safety & Security

The safety and security of all passengers is a shared responsibility between the PCM, the driver, and the bus owner.

Passengers are strongly advised to take their personal safety seriously, remain alert during travel, and avoid unnecessary risks.

We strongly encourage night travel where possible, in the interest of passenger safety.

Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) may be covered under the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) group insurance scheme, administered by its designated provider (such as Capital Express Assurance Limited), in accordance with NYSC provisions.

Conduct & Stops

Passengers are expected to behave respectfully towards LiteHalls staff, drivers, and other passengers at all times. Non-cooperative, disruptive, or abusive behaviour may result in immediate termination of the trip without completion.

In such cases, the passenger may be eligible for up to an 80% refund at the discretion of LiteHalls, or may be handed over to appropriate security authorities where necessary.

Any request for stops (rest, food, etc.) is at your own responsibility and must not delay the trip significantly.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellation more than 24 hours before pickup qualifies for an 80% refund.

Cancellation less than 24 hours of pickup will not be refunded.

Missing your trip due to lateness will also result in no refund.

Unfulfilled Trips

If LiteHalls cancels your trip due to logistics (such as insufficient passengers), you will receive a full refund within 24 hours.

Safety & Privacy

For safety and coordination, your real-time location may be shared with drivers, internal teams, or emergency services when necessary.

Liability

LiteHalls ensures the use of roadworthy vehicles and competent drivers but is not liable for:

Lost Items

Passengers are responsible for their belongings. While we may assist in contacting drivers, recovery of lost items is not guaranteed.

Changes to Terms

These terms may be updated when necessary. Continued use of the service implies acceptance of any updates.
